Hackbridge railway station is located on London Road, close to the town’s parade of shops at Hackbridge Corner.
The station is in Travelcard zone 4, and is served by Southern and Thameslink lines, with direct connections to stations including Carshalton and Sutton to the south, and Balham, Clapham Junction, London Victoria, London Blackfriars, London St Pancras International, City Thameslink, St Albans and Luton to the north.
The station has step free access to both platforms (platform 2 can be accessed either by a step bridge, or via a separate ramp entrance).
Mitcham Junction railway station is located just over a mile north along London Road from Hackbridge station, and for some Hackbridge residents will actually be their closest station.
The station is also in Travelcard zone 4, and is served by the same lines as Hackbridge (one station closer to London). There is also a stop on the Tramlink service at Mitcham Junction, with direct links to Wimbledon to the west and Croydon to the east.
The station has step free access to both rail platforms and to the Tramlink stop, and a new Blue Cap Coffee outlet has recently opened on the London-bound platform.
