There are over 60 community events and activities taking place over this year's Wandle Fortnight, from walks and talks, to cycle rides, picnics and even and beer and music festival.

Spencer Road Wetlands is located at the corner of Spencer Road and Wood Street, close to the River Wandle and on land once used for watercress production.
The one hectare space has raised walkways, allowing visitors to walk around the reed swamps, wetland vegetation, woodland and ponds. The wetlands are home to birds including the grey heron, reed warbler and kingfisher.
While not normally open to the public, the London Wildlife Trust run several open days during the summer.
